When submitting your articles, be sure to include your resource box at the end of each
article with information describing who you are, URL to your site, and instructions on how

Ad Swapping
Contact complimentary newsletters with roughly the same number of subscribers and make an
offer to swap ads with them. You can also put a notice in your newsletter that you accept
ad swaps.
Paid Advertising
Purchase the top ad spot (sponsor position) in a few selected ezines that have at least
1,500 subscribers. Pick publications which market to your target group.
If you advertise on your
own make sure you monitor the response from each ad and drop those publications which
don't perform. An easy way to monitor your ad campaigns is with an ad tracking service

your ezine.
Joint Ventures
This is a great way to generate subscribers over a long period. As in ad swapping, you
find other publishers with a similar target group to your own. You offer your visitors a
way to sign up for the other publisher's ezine, and they do the same for you. The sign up
form can be on a subscription "thank you" page, on each site's home page, or any
other agreed upon method. Another way to venture would be to offer a package of services
in a contest or giveaway. Every new subscriber is then entered in the drawing. The
possibilities are wide open with this method of attracting subscribers.
