In this box you can put any message
which deserves special attention. Messages from the boss work well in this space.
The attention of your reader will
naturally be drawn here. People will focus on the left side of the page instinctively, and
the shading helps to draw your reader in.
Some people will only skim your
newsletter, and perhaps not even look inside, so this is where you want to get across your
Most Wanted Message.

Place News Headline Here |
| Start your
news article here. A great opening article is one that highlights the success of the
company. This lets people know they are part of a winning team - a team with a bright
future. Cut and paste your article into
this section. If your article is too long for the front page, continue on another page.
You can make the font size smaller
to allow for more text. The text which follows this paragraph is just filler.
|
Being
immersed in your success gives you a "third eye" on opportunities, a smartness
if you will, that makes the road to success shorter. I've always felt that the key to succeeding
in any endeavor is not really HOW MUCH you do, but HOW SMART you do it. By focusing on
your eventual success, you discover smartness. Being smart lets you cut to the
chase. It's about seeing opportunities and opening doors that others miss.

size smaller to allow for more text. The text which follows this paragraph is just filler. By placing the customer at the center of all your thinking
you create an environment which fosters long term success. A key component of success lies
in your ability to generate repeat and referral business, and a sure way to do this is by
forming lasting relationships with your customers.
Set yourself apart from the competition.
Give your customers something they can't get
elsewhere. Give your customers something they can't get elsewhere. This is your niche on
the Web. Make your niche something of real value over time and people will come back again
and again. |
Don't waste
time on activities that can be automated. For instance, let your email program filter and route your incoming messages
automatically, use a template to build new pages for your site, etc. Automation frees up
your time so you can concentrate on the important stuff - your customer.
Ask your customers to fill out a survey
You need to understand your customer's needs.
Offer a valuable freebie or a discounted service for participating. This strategy
establishes a dialogue between you and the customer and helps determine the direction of
your business.
Imagine every customer as a real person standing in front of you. |

Lasting Customer Relationships (continued from

In this section you can continue
an article or start a new one.
This article is just filler text so
you can see the layout of an article. Eliminate the time you spend you on non-productive
tasks. For instance, unsubscribe to newsletters your never read instead of deleting them
each time.
Handle paperwork one time and then file it
instead of stacking it in a pile. All these little things add up to lots of wasted time
that could be spent on your customer. Concentrate your efforts on marketing to people who
need your service. |
Start by auditing your
marketing and sales data to find out how and why a sale is made. Eliminate or change
marketing strategies and services that don't serve the needs of your customers.
Respond to email quickly. Response time should be under 24 hours. By responding quickly
you send the message that your customers are important and you are genuinely interested in
meeting their needs. Make sure your customer is thoroughly satisfied with their purchase
and offer additional services related to their purchase. Customers value their time and
appreciate finding what they want quickly and effortlessly. |

Questions From Readers
|
| Here's a good place to
get your reader involved in your newsletter. Encourage people to ask questions that will
be printed for everyone to see. Putting this Q and A section near the end of your
newsletter increases the chances that people will also read the middle sections. The rest of the text in this section is just filler so you
can see the layout.
Q: What are futures?
Futures markets have their existence in relation
to an underlying cash market. The cash market is a physical commodity such as wheat,
cattle, gold, T-bills, etc. that is bought and sold between parties. Due to cash market
price volatility, the futures markets emerged in part as a way to help ensure price
stability at a later delivery date. |
What is a
futures contract? A futures
contract is an agreement between two parties that a specified quantity of a commodity at a
specified price will be delivered at a specified future date. In actuality, few futures
contracts are settled through delivery as the majority of market participants liquidate
their contracts before delivery is scheduled to be made.
Who are the participants in the market?
There are two primary participants in the futures
markets: the hedger and the speculator. The hedger seeks to protect a cash position
against adverse price movements while the speculator provides market liquidity by
providing risk capital in the hopes of making a profit through prediction of price
movements. |
